Nitro V. Kaian (ニトロ ヴェン Kaian Nitoro?) is a rookie pirate, and pirate captain of his crew, the Thunderscar Pirates. He is the first character in Hedgehog Piece to be introduced and would be one of the main characters of the pirate crews that the comic follows. He is the son of the deceased pirate, Breaker of the Breaking Fate Pirates. His goal is to become a better pirate than his dad ever was. He is the user of the Shokku-Shokku Fruit and is Captain and founder of the Thunderscar Pirates.
Nitro's reputation is steadily growing since his escape from the being taken to the Marine Prison, Impel Down, defeat of a Marine Commander and because of him challenging and taking down Crime Boss Hamaki. He is known for being "reckless" , "a poor listener", and having an "extremely short attention span" among his crew and most who come in contact with him. The Marines currently see him as a growing threat, but not enough for them seem to want to chase after him. Though Marine Captain Fritz E. Kriegs has noticed the growing threat and has made attempts to stop him.
Appearance
Nitro is renowned for the Lightning Bolt shaped scar on his forehead (From which he gets his nickname "Thunder Scar Nitro".), which he recieved in an incident with Breaker and a Marine Captain as a child. He has silver fur and golden quills. He wears black long sleeved shirt with matching pants and shoes, his pants have bright yellow streaks down the sides. (This outfit is his Main Outfit of the series.)
Alternate Outfits
Nitro's first alternate outfit is shown in Free Arc 1, it is similar to his usual outfit only his jacket is a dark navy blue instead of black as well as the streaks down his pants.
